Adriana Youngová graduated from the Motol Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1996. She went on to gain clinical practice at the hospital in Kralupy nad Vltavou, at the hospital of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague 1 and at the Thomayer University Hospital in Prague 4. In 2000 she received her post-graduate qualification as a general physician (physician of internal medicine), and this was followed in 2002 by the same qualification in general practice. She worked as a general practitioner in Prague 8 (Karlín) with Dr. Seifert, Ph.D. from 2002 to 2009.

From 2005-15 she lectured at the First Medical Faculty of Charles University at the department of General Practice, as well as lecturing as part of postgraduate courses for general practitioners. At present she is authoring two chapters for a new textbook on general practice for English speaking students.

From January 2010 she has completely refurbished premises for a private practice in Prague Dejvice, which she opened on 1st September 2010.

She is a member of the Society of General Practitioners (part of the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně) and of the Czech society of palliative medicine, as well as the Society of Psychosomatic Medicine. She also holds a certificate of lifelong learning from the Czech Medical Chamber.

Dr. Youngová is not registering new patients at present.
