Zuzana Lebedová graduated from the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1995 and qualified as a psychiatrist in 1998. Her professional competence in this specialism was accredited by the Ministry of Health in 2007 and in 2008 she gained a licence from the Czech Medical Chamber for private practice and counselling in psychiatry. In 2009 she specialised in systematic psychotherapy.
She has been training for many years in group dynamic therapy and PBSP therapy, together with bodywork, numerous seminars of shorter duration focused mostly on working with trauma. She has spent many years of her professional life working in some of the country's best respected crisis centres (RIAPS and CKI) as a outpatient psychiatrist and therapist as well as director of a psychiatric ward. She has also worked at the Kosmonosy psychiatric unit and at the Budějovická polyclinic. At present she has a private practice for counselling and psychotherapy in Prague and works shifts at the Centre for Crisis Intervention (CKI). She also occasionally holds seminars on PBSP therapy for professionals in the helping professions and for the general public.
She is a member of the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně and the PBSP Association. She works with adult patients and clients.
