MUDr. Adriana Youngová
Chief doctor Adriana Youngová graduated from the Motol Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1996. She went on to gain clinical practice at the hospital in Kralupy nad Vltavou, at the hospital of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague 1 and at the Thomayer University Hospital in Prague 4. In 2000 she received her post-graduate qualification as a general physician (physician of internal medicine), and this was followed in 2002 by the same qualification in general practice. She worked as a general practitioner in Prague 8 (Karlín) with Dr. Seifert, Ph.D. from 2002 to 2009. From 2005-15 she lectured at the First Medical Faculty of Charles University at the department of General Practice, as well as lecturing as part of postgraduate courses for general practitioners. At present she is authoring two chapters for a new textbook on general practice for English speaking students. From January 2010 she has completely refurbished premises for a private practice in Prague Dejvice, which she opened on 1st September 2010. She is a member of the Society of General Practitioners (part of the Czech Medical Society of J. E. Purkyně) and of the Czech society of palliative medicine, as well as the Society of Psychosomatic Medicine. She also holds a certificate of lifelong learning from the Czech Medical Chamber. Dr. Youngová is not registering new patients at present.
MUDr. Dana Graichmanová
Doctor Dana Graichmanová graduated from the Royal Vinohrady Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1995. She went on to gain clinical practice at the hospital in Svitavy, where she worked as a general physician (internist). She worked here until 2004 and gained experience both on the general ward and in intensive care. She also provided consultative services for other departments, notably in pre-operative examinations and in post-operative care, and also provided outpatient cardiological and diabetological care. In 2000 she received her post-graduate qualification as a general physician (physician of internal medicine). She went on to specialise in care of the elderly (geriatrics). In 2004 she began work at Motol Hospital in Prague, where she continued to develop this specialism, and in 2010 received a post-graduate qualification in geriatrics. She is a member of the Czech Geriatric and Gerontological Society of J. E. Purkyně. She continues her professional development by participating in seminars on general medicine and geriatrics and also a course on palliative care. She holds a certificate of lifelong learning from the Czech Medical Chamber. Dr. Graichmanová is not registering new patients at present.
MUDr. Andrea Fraňková
Doctor Andrea Fraňková graduated from the Motol Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. During her studies she participated in a research of neurocognitive diseases and dementia, and also did an internship at OB-GYN department in Hadassah Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel. Before graduation she had worked for more than two years at State Institute for Drug Control as an analyst of drug adverse reactions reports. After graduation in 2015 she joined a medical team at the Internal Medicine department of the Příbram District Hospital. She found this experience to be very valuable and continued to work there in the weekend and night shifts after switching to the GP's training. Dr. Fraňková gained her medical qualification as a general practitioner in June 2019. She joined our team in September 2020.
MUDr. Olga Nejedlá
Doctor Olga Nejedlá graduated from the Motol Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1996. From 2003 to 2014 she worked at the home care service Geria and from 2015 to 2019 at the Post-Operative Care Department of the hospital of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Charles Borromeo in Prague 1. As a part of her specialised training, she has undertaken internships in internal medicine as well as in rehabilitation services. Dr. Nejedlá joined our practice in October 2019. She gained her medical qualification as a general practitioner in July 2023. She also continues to work on improving her English skills. :)
MUDr. Klára Frantová
Doctor Klára Frantová graduated from the Third Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague in 2018. During her studies she did an intership at Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas, Lithuania. In 2017 she participated in humanitarian assistance programme organised by ADRA in Itibo, Kenya. She then went on to gain clinical practice at the Slaný hospital, where she worked in the Department of Internal Medicine until 2019. She also did internships at the Královské Vinohrady University Hospital and the Na Homolce hospital. Klára Frantová joined our practice in September 2021. She gained her medical qualification as a general practitioner in April 2023.
MUDr. Josef Stonawski
Doctor Josef Stonawski graduated from the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. During his studies he worked as a first aid tutor for the Czech Red Cross at Prague 1. After graduation in 2018 he applied for his foundation programme and moved to the United Kingdom. He gained valuable experience there by working as a junior doctor in a variety of departments, such as the general medicine ward, acute medicine, A&E, care of the elderly, the stroke unit and trauma & orthopaedics. After finishing the foundation programme, he returned to the Czech Republic and worked as a general internal medicine doctor at University Hospital Vinohrady. He joined our team in March 2021 and gained his medical qualification as a general practitioner in December 2023. He speaks Czech, Polish and English
MUDr. Jiří Turek
Doctor Jiří Turek graduated from the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. During his studies he completed a six-month internship at the Hôpital civil in Strasbourg, he also participated in teaching medical physiology as well as in various volunteer activities. After graduation he worked at Jihlava Hospital in the Department of Internal Medicine, while also working in the mobile hospice „Sdílení“ and providing first aid services. From 2020 – 2021 he worked at General University Hospital in Prague in the Department of Internal Medicine, where he worked in the unit focused on treatment of arterial hypertension and the coronary care unit. Dr. Turek gained his medical qualification as a general practitioner in May 2023.
MUDr. Barbora Rodi
Doctor Barbora Rodi graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of Palacký University Olomouc in 2009. She went on to gain clinical practice at the hospital in Ostrava, where she worked at the Department of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine and where she also undertook an internship at the Department of Internal Medicine. In the years 2016 –2017 she worked as a general practitioner at the medical facility Moje Ambulance. In addition to her job as a general practitioner, Barbora also lectures on nutrition, quality of sleep, stress management and how to prevent burning out. She is also training in psychotherapy, and has recently completed the course "The Gestalt approach in personal and professional context" and is now nearing the end of a five-year training programme in psychotherapy accredited by the Instep institute. Barbora speaks fluent English and gained her international experience during long-term stays abroad, notably in Denmark and in the USA
MUDr. Robert Vaněk
Doctor Robert graduated from the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague with an interest in internal medicine and in comprehensive preventive care in particular. During his studies he completed several interships at the deparments of internal medicine via the IFMSA organization (October University in Cairo, Egypt; Hospital University of Antonio Pablo in Niterói, Brazil). He also completed an internship at the University of Bari Aldo Moro in Bari, Italy via the ERASMUS programme. After graduation, he started working as a secondary doctor at the Department of Internal Medicine of the First Medical Faculty of Charles University as well as in the Military University Hospital in Střešovice. From 2022 he is preparing for his qualification as a general practitioner. He also gained further experience during his internship at the General University Hospital in Prague.

Nurse Monika graduated form Nursing school Ruská in Prague and then completed her master's degree in nursing at the University of Health and Social Work of St. Elizabeth in Bratislava. From 2009 to 2021, she worked as a general nurse in the Intermediate cardiac care unit at the Na Homolce Hospital. Monika joined our team in November 2022.

Nurse Lucie graduated from Nursing school 5. května in Prague as a general nurse. and then began working at the Department of Surgery of the Thomayer University Hospital, where she stayed for five years. She also worked in a private dental practice for five years and then in a general practice for four years. Lucie joined our team in February 2023.
Jitka Vlková
Nurse Jitka graduated from the Secondary School of Nursing in Hranice na Moravě - majoring in general nursing, then from the Ensign Middle School in Hradec Králové - majoring in military medicine and then from the Secondary Pedagogical School Futurum in Prague - majoring in pre-school education. During her professional life, she worked in the armed forces, taught in kindergarten aand also worked in retirement home. In addition to her nursing knowledge and skills, she also has many years of experience with administrative work and team management. Jitka joined our team in April 2023. In addition to Czech, she can communicate in French as well. She also continues to work on improving her English skills. :)

MUDr. Zuzana Tichá
Psychotherapist Zuzana Tichá graduated from the First Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1995 and qualified as a psychiatrist in 1998. Her professional competence in this specialisation was accredited by the Ministry of Health in 2007 and in 2008 she gained a licence from the Czech Medical Chamber for private practice and counselling in psychiatry. In 2009 she specialised in systematic psychotherapy. She has been long-termed trained in group dynamic therapy and PBSP therapy, together with numerous courses and seminars mostly focused on trauma work and crisis intervention. She has worked many years in crisis centres (RIAPS and CKI) as a psychiatrist, therapist and a director of a psychiatric ward. She worked also at the Kosmonosy psychiatric unit and at the Budějovická polyclinic. At present she has a private practice for counselling and psychotherapy in Prague. She works with adult patients and clients in Czech and English. She is a member of the Czech Psychiatric and Psychotherapeutic Society of J. E. Purkyně; and Czech Medical Chambre. She is a vice-president of the Czech PBSP Association, member of the board of the international Psychomotor Institute and works as a lector and supervisor of the systematic PBSP training for professionals. David Dobiáš
Physioterapist David Dobiáš worked for more than 12 years at the psychiatric clinic of General University Hospital in Prague as a physiotherapist and ergotherapist. This provided rich experience in dealing with a wide range of psychosomatic disorders and their expression in the body. He specialised in massage and individual exercising and came to master an empathic approach to soft techniques for manipulative therapy of the cervical spine, thoracic and lumbar spine, ribs, sacro-illiac joint, tailbone (coccyx), hips, knees etc. David uses the techniques developed by the Prague myoskeletal school and complements these with the Feldenkrais principle of awareness through movement. As part of his therapy he offers kinesiological analysis, instruction and education in improving patterns of movement, in principles for a healthy back and ergonomics of the working environment. He also works privately as a physio/ergotherapist for old and disabled people.
