How to Apply?

The application for benefits must be submitted by the client to the relevant Employment Office (ÚP) or District Social Security Administration (OSSZ), not by a doctor.

 

A) Applications for the care allowance, disability card, mobility allowance, and special aid allowance can be submitted through the Employment Office or via online forms available on their website.

 

For the care allowance assessment, you can print and complete the following forms:

B) Applications for disability pensions are submitted to the OSSZ according to the client’s permanent address. Applications can be submitted in person, or another person can be authorized via a power of attorney. It is recommended to make an appointment in advance.

Home Healthcare

Home healthcare is provided by the client’s primary care physician or a hospital doctor upon discharge for up to 14 days, after which care continues through the primary care physician. Home healthcare is fully covered by public health insurance and is intended for clients with health problems that can be addressed through visits from a home healthcare nurse.
