Occupational Health Examinations (PLP)

Occupational health examinations (PLP) are conducted to assess the health suitability of job applicants or employees for their designated work.

Appointment Process

To schedule an occupational health examination, you must make an appointment via the Emmy system and attach a request from the employer. If you choose to book at the reception, please bring the request with you.

Employer Request Requirements

The employer’s request must include the following information:

• Identification of the applicant

• Position for which the employee is being hired

• Risks associated with the specific job

• The relevant work category—please note that we only conduct examinations for category 1 jobs; higher categories fall under the jurisdiction of the occupational physician. For this examination, you will need a medical documentation excerpt (which can be ordered through EMMY).

On the Day of the Examination

On the day of your examination, please bring a urine sample in a provided vial (available at our reception or can be purchased at a pharmacy). If you have already undergone laboratory tests, including a urine test, prior to the examination, you do not need to bring an additional sample.

Financial Responsibility

Occupational health care is not covered by public health insurance.
